Denver Fact #8 – The Craft Brew is King

You won't find another city quite as in tune with the beer scene as Denver

By Dan Pag on January 4, 2017

One of the most important things to know about Denver is that craft beer is hands down, the most important thing. Denver isn’t the #1 best place to live in the country because we’re stressed out – it’s because we know how to relax after a hard days work (or adventure) and sip down one of the hundreds of locally brewed craft beers.

In fact, 20% of all beer that’s made in Colorado is a craft brew. Now, that number might not sound impressive until you squeeze in this little brewery called Coors, which is right down the road in Golden.

There are more craft breweries within the city limits of Denver than a lot of states have in their entire state! Denver loves beer so much that it’s home to the Great American Beer Festival, hands down the largest and best beer fest you will ever go to.

There’s simply no question; if you like beer, you belong in Denver.
