Denver Winter Bike Week

You've heard of Bike to Work Day, but have you ever heard of Winter Bike Week?

By Dan Pag on January 23, 2017

An extension of the popular Bike to Work Day, Winter Bike Week kicks off January 23 and aims to bring focus to the current state of bicycling in the Mile High City all week long.

With events every day of the week on various bike paths across the city (like free coffee and cocoa on Wednesday), it feels very similar to Bike to Work Day, with one major difference: a stark difference in temperatures. The weather types are predicting highs in the 30’s for the middle of Winter Bike Week, as opposed to the usual low’s in the 60’s for the June event.

So bundle up, and dust off that commuter bike and help celebrate Winter Bike Week!
